Cash
consists of coins, currency, money orders, checks, money on hand or on deposit in a bank (e.g., checking account). Cash is the most liquid asset on an entity's balance sheet. Unrestricted cash is considered a current asset. Restricted cash may be classified as a current or non-current asset depending on when the restriction to use the cash can be removed.
